About Us

Location
We operate out of a Grade 2 listed building in the heart of Cheshire. We are close to motorway connections and therefore can undertake work throughout the Midlands and North of England. We have recently completed projects in North Wales, Cumbria, Yorkshire and Derbyshire.

The Team
Our small team all come from technical backgrounds. But it's what we have in common - talent, insight and a passion for architecture - that keeps our clients and their associates coming back for more. We operate a studio based practice, for both residential and commercial areas, as Barrie Newcombe Associates and Javin Newcombe Architects. Teams are lead by Barrie Newcombe on the residential side and Paul Javin on commercial work.

The remaining members are:

Architects: Chris Palin and Darren Curry.
Senior Technicians: Stuart Evans and Ray Baker.
Technicians: Stephen Chow, Glenn Cartwright, Paul Taylor and John Lawton.
Architectural Assistant: Sarah Aspinall, who is just about to complete her Part 3 exam to qualify as an Architect.

We are hard working, efficient, friendly, highly motivated, easy to contact and have a sense of humour! We even hold our own Winnington Lawn Tennis and Croquet Championships. (Soon to rival the one in the South!)
